    Customer Service needs improvement.

    I was really worried after reading some of the reviews on this company after I had already ordered my arbour, however, whilst their customer service is not the best by any means, they weren`t as bad as I`d been led to believe. I did have to chase up delivery on my product as the quoted 5 to 10 days turned into 3 weeks, but the goods did eventually arrive as promised and the delivery guys were really helpful. There were a few screws missing, but a quick call to Rowlinson direct (who supply the arbour to Gardener`s World), and they were sent out the same day. We have not erected as yet, but the quality of the product looks excellent. So don`t be put off by this company. I think the reviews are a bit misleading as they go from one extreme to the other. If you like top notch customer service then I would probably go somewhere else, but if you don`t mind a bit of a wait, and maybe having to do a bit of chasing up yourself then you won`t be disappointed.

    Delightful service

    I ordered an Artemis Arbour from gardener's-world in June. I received 2 emails confirming the order followed by a letter through the post from the actual supplier with the promise of delivery within 4 weeks. When the initial contact suggested I may have to wait longer I started having doubts about the legitimacy of the company. I saw all the 5 star ratings and wondered if it was genuine. You know what it's like with internet shopping sometimes! Well I needn’t have worried. I phoned Edinburgh and was assured my order was about to be dispatched and I’d get a call from the carrier which I did. Even the carriers were very efficient and phoned me to double check the whereabouts of a message I’d been asked to put on my wheelie bin where the arbour was to be deposited. So all in all – I’m delighted with your service – oh, and the arbour is great. Everything was included and it was easy to put together.

    Excellent product and customer service

    I bought a Arbour from gardeners World attracted by the design and competitive price. When it arrived I was impressed with the quality and the way it had been shipped in a crate. Unfortunately one of the panels had cracked on a wood knot line, but a phone call sorted this and a new panel was despatched. I called on Thursday and it was with me on Monday, not bad at all. It is interesting that others feel that they have suffered from poor customer service. I have called 3 times and the phone has been answered quickly and the member of staff has been polite, friendly, knowledgable and efficient. I can only talk from my experience but I will be using Gardeners World again and would recommend to friends and family.

    I'm glad I didn't read these reports before I placed my order, otherwise I probably wouldn't have given them my custom. I ordered six Torino Garden lights for a total price of £74.97, the same order from other websites would have cost me from between £100 & £150. The order was placed on Sunday 9th March about 7pm. I received an acknowledgement by email on Monday, closely followed by another email to tell me that the order had been dispatched. The good arrived the next day, unfortunately I was out when they arrived, but redelivery was made one day later. Personally, I cannot fault this company & wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or buy from them again.

    Very satisfied first shed owner.

    I bought a small flatpack shed from here. The website felt like it was fronting a 'real' company with 'real' stock so I ordered. I also phoned them once or twice and got good service each time, including being called back when they said they would. Delivery was quick enough. Everything arrived in good order with the exception that one of the six supplied hinges was missing. One phone call and an email and it arrived a week later by courier. These days I find myself ranking customer service equally with price. Based on my own experience I'd use them again.

    Als enthousiaste tuinier was ik op zoek naar een tijdschrift met nuttig advies en inspiratie voor mijn tuin. Gardeners' World Magazine bleek precies dat te zijn. Het staat vol met handige tips voor het kweken van groenten, fruit en bloemen, en ook voor het onderhouden en ontwerpen van mijn tuin. De artikelen zijn goed geschreven en bevatten duidelijke en praktische richtlijnen die ik makkelijk kan opvolgen. Ik geniet ervan om door de pagina's te bladeren en nieuwe ideeën op te doen voor mijn tuinprojecten.

    Excellent value, OK delivery but poor communication

    2 Seater Bench took 10 day to deliver although their web site indicated it had been dispatched after 2 days - No Emails at all indicating item had been dispatched, when it was due for delivery or by what carrier. The Bench itself came flat packed in 6 pieces that are easily screwed together with the supplied alun key. It's really solid and excellent value for money and 10 days delivery isn't bad for such a product.

Really pleased with the outdoor slide we ordered It's just what we needed for our DIY climbing frame. can't wait for my grandchildren to start using it. Ik had gehoopt op meer diepgaande informatie en innovatieve ideeën. Ook de kwaliteit van de foto's was niet zo goed. Ik ga niet snel weer een abonnement nemen op dit blad.

    Wauw, da tijdschrift is echt fantastisch! Der stoat vol me superslimme tips vo mè groente, fruit en bloemen in minne hof te kweken. Ik è toch zoveel geleerd over tuinieren en 't onderhouden van mè buitenruimte. Echt ne aanrader ve iedereen me groene vingers!

De verhalen van andere tuiniers zijn zo inspirerend en motiverend. Het is echt onmisbaar voor elke tuinliefhebber!

    In June 2023 I got a mail that there was a problem with the post and that I meanwhile could read the magazine on line. Since then no more magazines (only mails) Honestly I forgot already I had to receive printed editions… until now an amount of 75,50 euro for the next year (as from febr 2024) was taken from my account. Very expensive for some mails. I looked for contactdetails … No mail/tel nr. On the contact formular one can only let them know that ‘1’ edition was missing. So watch out….

    I ordered a subscription in October, received December copy and now it’s mid January and no further issues have been received. I emailed customer service who promptly replied to say a new copy would be sent out. 6 days later and nothing. Very disappointed in Gardener’s World

    Rude and unhelpful customer service.

    I ordered a magazine subscription on 28th November that included free sacueters for my dad's Christmas present. I was not aware the payment wouldn't be taken the day I brought it (I thought it was taken straight out of my account just like any other payment would). Instead they tried to take the payment 3 and a half weeks later without notice. The payment failed as I didn't know it would be coming out my account. When I phoned to sort it out the woman on the other end of the line was unbelievably rude and unhelpful. She kept asking me for a code - which I haven't received and didn't know what she was talking about. Instead of allowing me to pay and reissue what I had ordered she tried to give me a different subscription which is not what my dad wanted for Christmas. I am now left with no present 3 days before Christmas. I can't get over how rude and unhelpful this woman was the only thing I'm gutted about is not knowing her name to report it.

    I bought a shed that was supposed to be 3 day delivery. After 2 weeks they contacted me and said the shed is no longer available and cancelled my order even though it’s still on the website as available. It’s been 2 months and they haven’t refunded me or replying to my messages.

    Avoid! - Scam like model where you cannot cancel

    I bought a subscription for my wife which hasn't even started yet but is full of problems. I registered for an account to manage the sub but this is very flaky and does not work - I managed to log in a couple of times but since then my account does not work. Even password reset requests get ignored - I shouldn't have to reset my password and in any event, I should be able to reset it without being completely ignored! I have emailed them, these get ignored - then called them - that was a waste of time as they have no idea what to do. Apart from not being able to access the account, the problem is the confirmation of the sub informed me that it would automatically renew - I didn't select this and as I cannot access the account to deal with it I cannot stop this auto renewing and I have had to resort to writing and warning them not to continue the subscription but given the complete shambles and hopeless "customer service" of this company I suspect I will have a fight to cancel the automatic renewal. I very strongly suggest you go elsewhere as clearly they are not worth dealing with and even going by the reviews here they are a hopeless company to deal with - I wish I had seen these reviews first! This almost seems like a scam company as their model appears to take your money then stop you from being able to cancel the sub - very suspicious way of doing things to me! BEWARE and AVOID!!
